I have had nothing but problem after problem with this unit. When I turn it off there is no guarantee that it will turn back on. I have had to go multiple hours without air conditioning because this unit will not turn on. I have kept up the maintenance on it, emptied both water drains, cleaned the filters ect. I am at a loss, Extremely disappointed in this product, I will stick to LG from now on.

Love it!!!!! Our 14x14 room is cold enough to hang meat! If we open the door it cools the upstairs no problem.

I would give this 5 stars if it included options for window openings that crank open. My windows don't slide, so install was trickier. I went to speciality place that custom cut plexiglas and had them make an insert for my window so I could vent the unit. It's not pretty, but it works. It would also be nice if there was a quieter mode- it's just high and low- and the low is still very loud. I can't complain too much, though, because having a 64 degree room is way better than 80 degrees.

I have a small less than 250 sq foot bedroom albeit in an ancient 1900 built home. This thing dehumidifies but I am not appreciating significant cooling! I turn it on high fan, 61 degrees, its brand new and it only just takes humidity out of the air. I have put additonal foam around the window insert (foam provided is flimsy and chintsy) and keep it on cool trying to keep the room closed. sometimes keeping the room closed off with the a/c on just makes it more stuffy due to lack of circulation. I have needed an air purifier (very high end one) on high and 2 rotating fans to get cooler air to circulate and then it still does not get much lower than high 70's on hot nights :(

I bought 3 of these at Lowe's less than a year ago and one doesn't work now. Funny thing is that the one not working is in the smallest room of the three. And all three rooms are kind of small to begin with. I hope the one year warranty covers this?

Good instructions as to not damage vinyl windows. Easy to install. Fan is very powerful and feel the pressure when walking by. Only thing I can find wrong is it doesn't have and exhaust screen to cover vent hole in window exhaust.

We can't heap more praise than this review so here goes. It's getting hotter on the west side of the house and using this device keeps the room nice and cool. The workmanship on the unit is amazing. Worked great at first had the product for 9 months then it just started freezing. I am now in the process of getting another but they want me to go buy a new GE product with my money and mail them the receipt for reimbursement 6-8 weeks later I might call them back and see if there is anything else they can do. I don't really have the funds right now to purchase a new one and wait for reimbursement

We actually got this on clearance along with a couple others that we purchased at full price when our AC went out in the dest. We returned all of them except for this one. It's got great power, sure it's a bit loud but what gigantic air conditioner isn't? Point is, I guess the job done well

Put in garage , easy installation , ( took 15 min ) which includes unpacking. Works nice , keeps garage cool , digital thermostat is accurate.. Garage is one car but it is twice as deep.

I have approximately 160 sq. Ft shop and it gets really hot during warm weather . Set up was easy and the AC does a great job keeping it cool. I don't even have to run at full scale to do so. Power was barely noticeable increase. I highly recommend it for a shop this size.

The unit cooled down our bedroom in no time. It's heavy to carry up stairs, but it's on wheels so easy to move around. Hooking it up to the window wasn't too complicated, but I had to use some socks and take in addition to the foam they provided. We've since taken it down (we have a new A/C for our home), and though some of the foam isn't reusable, much of it is.

We purchased this to tide us over until we could get our home AC unit repaired. The system provided constant cooling of our large master bedroom so we could sleep at night during hot summer weather. Even our dogs were delighted to have a cool place to sleep at night. The unit worked exceptionally well and without issue. Quick set up for the window vent, and little hardware to deal with. Well worth the price.

I bought this when our power went out for two weeks after Hurricane Ida. We were on power from a generator too small to run the central air. We used this in the bedroom so we could at least be comfortable sleeping. It cooled a large bedroom and master bath in no time when it was 90 degrees outside. Easy to set up and simple to use. Being on rollers with adjustable vents made it easy to direct the air flow. I'd recommend it and would buy it again.
