Other than this unit being a bit loud when it is running, it suits our needs well as we were looking for one that would have a reminder beep after the food or whatever was done. It continues to beep once every minute or so until you open the door.

Love my new microwave GE doesn't disappoint. All the features needed. Never had a microwave I could mute the sound. Nice feature to have. Simple to use overall. Gets the job done

Compact is all we needed so we love the simplicity of the controls and choices. Food seems to cook faster than our old microwave! So far we have had a great experience with this model and we love the black stainless finish. Goes well with stainless and black appliances.

Problem with door latch button opening the door

I like the looks of this unit, and have finally grown used to the operation of it. But we've had a periodic problem for the last 1.5-yrs (since purchase) with the door-open-button NOT opening the door. So now, it never opens the door, so I'm now having a probably-expensive simple repair done at a local after-market repair shop, as Lowe's says they do not do repairs.

This Microwave does a good job in "cooking" but the controls: time to cook, setting the shade of toast, and the temperature are difficult to learn. It takes several "sessions" to learn how to use the product. I frequently have to resort to the manual before I cook a meal.
