Works like a charm and having a built in dehumidifier is a huge plus. The unit is also very sleek and modern looking which is a nice touch given it has to be out in the open.

Worked great for about two weeks, I think but it never tracked the temperature in the room as stated in the manual. Itcame with batteries I stalledin remote, which I found odd, Duracell of all things. However, after two weeks or so, stopped blowing cool air. Would blow air for about 5 minutes then quit. Checked water level, empty… no error codes, Just quit… I think someone sold us a bad one that was brought back as the batteries were a clear give away…very odd. Therefore, since never worked right from beginning with temp readings and since it quit working after about two weeks, I have to give it one star. It was very disappointing.

I purchased this product during the extreme summer of 2021 and units were scarce as a result. I have sliding windows so this type of A/C would install within an hour. It made a miserable summer very bearable for my dog and myself, I should have gotten one far sooner. It blows air with sufficient force that my ceiling fan spins slowly from the breeze. The air filter is just a rinse off type under a faucet. Very well thought out design. The size was adequate for making my home comfortable in the living room.

The manual says to drain water from air conditioner at the bottom drain user a 1 12" pie pan, or connect a water hose to the top drain. I had to place my G.E, unit on a 3/4 board to get a pan under mine to drain water. Otherwise everything worked fine, no problems, the unit really does an excellent job. would recommended

Perfect for small room,but if its real hot outside keep it on 64, all the time,make sure clean both fliter,u can drain the water with just a cup,I drain it every two weeks and clean it every three,love it,just need the dual unit sense I love in a rv

So far, so good. It is keeping us (an most importantly, the dog) cool and comfortable since the central AC stopped working. We will use it again next summer. Electric bill was much better than last year at this time.

In addition to completely dying after a few weeks, this thing was LOUD when it did work. I've had other portable units and for the cost this thing was the worst value as too cooling power, noise, and longevity.

Works as advertised. However, I bought this one mainly for the duel hose conversion kit and LOWES and GE both do not have them anymore. GE doesn't have any ETA on when they will make more. Never would've bought this had we known this as it's important to keep out hot air and that's what the conversion kit does. Part is RAP02 kit.

I bought this unit because of the dual hose capabilities with the purchase of a hose kit. I went on GE website to order this kit to find out it is not available and GE could not give you any schedule on when it might become available. If you are looking for a dual hose system do not buy this unit. Other than that it is a nice looking unit that dose work as
advertised. I guess I will just have to wait and see if GE comes up the dual hose kit.

I bought this unit to air condition my garage/workshop. It's doing a good job, about what I expected as I live in Florida. I bought this type of unit because my garage window is too small for a window mount air conditioner. Solved the problem. Would still like to get the RAP02 dual hose conversion kit when it becomes available to be able to increase the cooling efficiency.

Bought this unit for emergency AC that will run off a 110 outlet to cool a small 400 sf living space. Being in Florida we have had a lot of thunder storms and hurricanes in the past and without AC in the house it can be quite miserable. I quickly set this unit up to run off my portable generate to at least keep one room of the house cool. It is easy to set up and simple to use. The hardest part was setting up the window connection which took about an hour to complete because I wanted to make sure the window was secure if I wanted to leave the unit in place for multiple days. Last time we lost power 2 years ago we were without AC for 6 days, not any more.

Our AC went out. South Texas August heat. We needed something fast. We have another unit of a different brand in another room. We now prefer this unit. This unit was easy install, & does the basic job. We really needed one with a higher DOE rating, but this was the only one left in stock. It lowered the temp enough that we don't melt.

I live in Texas, my AC broke, was devastated as I work from home, went to Lowes and found my portable AC, it was a lifesaver as July in Texas is horrific.
